Cusco City tour

You will start your tour with a visit to the Coricancha, also knows as the "Temple of the Sun". This is when the Sun (Inti in Quechua) was worshipped during the Inca Empireand at the time of the Incas its walls were fully covered with gold sheets. Then you will go to the Cathedral, the most important building on the Main Square and one of the most splendid Spanish colonial churches in America.

Lunch in a local restaurant, where you can taste the best dishes of the region

Visit San Blas, where you will find an old adobe church, a lovely waterfall, shops, Art Galleries and walk through the fabulous Artisan Quarter.

You wil start en route to the Sacred Valley. You will then visit the Pisac citadel, a town shaped as a partridge, which is well known for two reasons: for the craft market established between c olonial buildens and for housing one of the most impressive complex of agricultural terraces of the Valley.

Visit to Ollantaytambo

Visit to Ollantaytambo, a typical example of the urban planning of the Incas, whose residents still live in accordance with their old traditions. The Ollantaytambo fortress is a huge archaeological complex.

Lunch at Cafe Inkaterra, where you can admire the Vilcanota river surrounded by mountains.

<p>In the afternoon return by train.  A transportation service with a guide will pick you up from train station and will transfer you to your hotel in Sacred Valley</p>

<h2>DAY 5 - Maras & Moray - </h2>

You will start your tour visiting Moray´s archaeological vestiges are composed of mysterious  concentric circular terraces which,  according to some scholars, would be an agrucultural research center. The higher external t erraces would be at a higher temperature ant the inner ones and could simulate the conditions of various ecological strata of the Empire.

Visit to Maras 

 />Maras, </strong>is a surreal view. It is an impressive complex for the exploitation of salt mines. Its huge alt deposits were used to trade them for other products with other parts of the empire.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Lunch at Orihuela Farm </strong>- This restaurant is part of an old Spanish Hacienda and has its own private collection of Pre-Inca, Inca and Post Inca artifacts.</p>
